I got to know Adam a little bit when he was spending four months in Israel on an internship for the Geneva Initiative and doing some really interesting posting from there. It was an interesting time of interesting combinations on his blog, world politics and travel, all in one. For the travel and political junkie that I am, it was a great combination.
Now he has moved on to another country with no shortage of history, India. It is a place that I know I need to get to and spend a few months in and his posts are reaffirming that for me.

1 — What is your dream car?
An invisible one!
2 — You, unfortunately, have been condemned to die, but fortunately, you get to have any meal in the world before you go. What is your menu?
Steak, potatoes and a veggie, made by my mom.
3 — Your biggest pet peeve is? (and by pet peeve, I mean something so insignificant that it is embarrassing to admit it bothers you)
People who get up and leave a movie theater before the credits have barely begun. Just stay seated and enjoy the music, folks.
4 — Most overrated country to visit?
I don’t know. Honestly. I was going to say Morocco, but then I remembered how I’d actually love to go back there again.
5 — Fill in the blank: the world would be a much better place without _____________.
people who leave cinemas before credits end.
6 — What is the superpower you most want?
Flying, duh.
7 — If you could travel with one person for one week, then never see or hear from them ever again, who would you choose?
I’d definitely choose a musician. Maybe traveling with Pete Doherty (from The Libertines) would be fun. Actually, I know it’d be fun. But I don’t think I could survive more than a week with him.
8 — Best single piece of technical advice (other than “provide good content”) you can give to get eyeballs to other people’s websites?
Be friendly! Talk to strangers online and off.
9 — Book I should go out and buy tomorrow?
Oh that’s too hard. I like too many, but if I must: Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer is a nice read.
10 — Fill in the blanks: I would pay good money to see ___ and ________ get into a good rough and tumble fight.
Fighting is bad! I wouldn’t pay money, but I’d check out a wrestling match maybe at some point. Everyone around the world seems to enjoy it and I’ve barely ever seen a match.
11 — What is a game that you can beat almost all your friends at?
Traveling. I’m really, really good at it.
12 — Worst current actor or actress?
Current?! I haven’t been to a cinema in months!
13 — One last fill in the blank: I have no idea how __________ got so rich and/or famous with no appreciable talent at all.
Me…. Oh wait, I haven’t!
I’ve been following Adam since he was in Morocco and I like his style! 🙂
I’d have a hard time finding the right answers for most of these questions, but he looks so relaxed and spontaneous!
If you drive an invisible car can people see you in it…does it look like you are floating around or are you invisible too…and if you are what if you roll the window down a bit…do you just look like a floating head…
there are so many good questions with invisible cars 😉
