My Favorite Spam Comments (Part II) 39

Sharing is caring!

Part One of my attempt to troll through my spam box for some funny and ill-timed comments seemed to be met with some modicum of approval and there was a recent discussion on the Travel Bloggers Group on Facebook where some folks asked for more, so here goes Part Two in that effort.

You might have to click on them to be able to read them properly. I had to shrink them down a bit to fit on the screen, but if you click on them, they will expand before your eyes. And given some of the humor is particularly because of which posts they choose to try to comment on, I included the links to the posts under the comments. Enjoy.

About Michael Hodson

I’m an attorney that took off on my birthday in December of 2008 to circumnavigate the globe without ever getting on an airplane. After 16 months, 6 continents and 44 countries, I made it all the way back home. Right now, I am back on the road writing about it all.

HAHA – made my Monday morning!! “Are your spam comments too high? Well, suck it…”

  • Daniel N.

Can you imagine a window display with hundreds of little Daniels all with the beard, long hair and camera in hand? That could be fun for Christmas…. Who wants Daniels for Christmas?

    *Gollum voice* My prrrrecious minions….

  • Jools Stone

Hilarious! I wish I kept all mine now. I especially like ‘well suck it because we make big money on you maggots’, I’ll bet there’s a few energy cos who’d love to be so honest in their press releases!

Funny stuff, I’m going to have to start looking at my spam.
What is the travel boggers FB group?

DELETE: sorry for the dup comment. I thought I stopped it to fix a typo before it went through

hahahaha! I thought I was the only one who checked my spam for a giggle. I kept getting told I “can get my ex boyfriend back!” from one spammer.

Funny…I don’t remember ever having one!

  • Erwin Konig

That one from google was too much 😉

I have a funny spammer too, he is a regular, comments once a month – he writes his name in Russian and the comment in German… I have no clue what he says, but I admire his perseverance.

  • Jaime

Damn it… I knew I should hav been keeping my spam comments. I just delete them all…lol!!!

    You got some good ones.

  • Roy

I don’t think that electric bill email was spam. They were just rubbing it in how much money they make…lol

    • Michael Hodson Post author

That is the damn truth. In years gone by, I worked for my State Attorney General for a bit and got a chance to see the numbers those companies were making… sick.

She digs me. Big time. If I was only a famous football star…. she’d be mine.

  • Theodora

The vocabulary here is truly laudable, thanking you to inform. Are you privy to the original fact whether these commenters have a thesaurus bot to impart such unique knowledge?

    • Michael Hodson Post author

Their extensive vocabulary dwarfs mine…. and makes me feel shameful for not paying attention more in school.

  • Bluegreen Kirk

Simply wonderful, you would think that they would be a little better at spamming, lol. Love the picture of the SPAM have actually had that since I was a kid.

  • Nomadic Matt

Today on a photo of a half sunk ship: “I read the blog. The blog helps me very much and attracts me.I think It is useful for tour lovers. Thanks the author and blog writer.”

  • Katherina

These comments are way better than the ones I receive, which only try to sell me some of their products… most of them, products A GIRL doesn’t need (or even wants to know they exist…). I lost my innocence after reading some of my spam comments!

    • Michael Hodson Post author

the loss of innocence via spam… sad, but somehow seems quite 21st century 😉

  • Maria Pavel

Yeah! I like to read some of my spam comments but I get way too many for some time. IPersonal i laughing when i see those huuuuuge comments (those are really bizarre!).

    • Michael Hodson Post author

the really, really long ones with dozens and dozens of links in it are the ones that make me laugh the most.

  • Suzy

I usually just click the “empty spam” button, but I think I may have to go give a few a read after reading some of yours. I do love the classic, “wow, there are a lot of spam comments on your site! You may want to do something about that”.

  • Abi

Love this. Off to search my own now….will be very disappointed if they’re only about xxx, xxxxx and xxx (in case your spam filter blocks my comment!)

  • Tammie Marquez

I love the simplicity of it. Cracked me up as soon as I read it. Love the picture of the SPAM have actually had that since I was a kid.

I recently posted a blog, regarding your posts on blog spam…. I gote one saying “well written article” and liek 3-4 spam links..

People spam my friends’ bioslinks pages with garbage, too.. I should do a simliar post

  • Kari

I’m in tears. That was so funny. I think I need to stop getting mad at my spam comments and instead do something similar to this.
