African Kids Posing for the Camera: Photo of the Day 14

I simply had more fun that I would have ever imagined (simply because I never would have imagined it to start with) during my four day train ride from Zambia to Dar es Saleem was when the train would stop and villagers would just pour out of their homes to come greet everyone on the train. Not at stations — in the middle of nowhere.

And kids everywhere love posing for photos…

Africa was a place where I learned about so many odd things, couldn’t wait to leave at the end and… simply cannot wait to go back to this totally unique place.

I think a lot of 2013 is going to be spent there.

About Michael Hodson

Iā€™m an attorney that took off on my birthday in December of 2008 to circumnavigate the globe without ever getting on an airplane. After 16 months, 6 continents and 44 countries, I made it all the way back home. Right now, I am back on the road writing about it all.
